Endoparasites (worms) live in every dog and cat, because the animal serves them as an intermediate and final host. If the animal is treated with chemical deworming, a large amount of toxins enters the organism, which can cause massive damage. They damage the liver, the intestinal flora and attack the immune system. Frequent chemical deworming leads to resistance against the drug, which ultimately become ineffective.
How to recognise a worm infestation?
Typical signs of a worm infestation include a bloated stomach, deficiency symptoms and unintentional weight loss despite a good appetite, diarrhea, vomiting, constipation, flatulance and scooting.
The detection of worms is possible via a laboratory where multiple fecal samples are submitted.

Ingredients
Organic carrots: The especially abundant potassium salts has a fast diuretic effect, while the essential oils are responsible for the anthelmintic properties.
Organic pumpkin seeds: Vitamin A and C, enzymes and numerous trace elements are gentle on the stomach and have a laxative, sedative and anthelmintic effect (especially with tapeworms).
Organic oregano: has an antibacterial effect. Thanks to its essential oils and bitter substances, it has a beneficial effect on the digestive organs.
Organic ginger: has a anthelmintic, germicidal, digestive effect.
Organic caraway: contains resins, fatty oils, tannins, flavonoids and protein, has an antibacterial effect on the intenstines. It calms irritated or nervous stomach, allowing a better digestion. Caraway also supports liver and bile function and eliminates the uncomfortable feeling of fullness after eating.
Organic turmeric, “India’s sacred plant”. It has many beneficial properties, such as antioxidant, immune-boosting, calming and antispasmodic effect on the muscles of the stomach and intestines, worm and germ killing.
Organic yarrow flowers have cholagogue and antispasmodic properties.
Organic flower pollen is a rich source of natural vitamins, minerals, proteins, as well as amino acids, enzymes and co-enzymes. They contain natural antibiotics and antihistamines and have significant antioxidant properties.
Organic coconut flakes contain lauric acid (main fatty acid in coconut oil) and have an antimicrobial effect against bacteria, fungi, as well as yeasts and viruses. The high concentration of fibre has a mild laxative effect.
Organic wormwood: is one of the most important bitter herbs used to strengthen the digestive system and has an anthelmintic effect.

Mix the herbs into pet food.
Puppies/kittens from 8 weeks of age: ½ teaspoon daily
Dogs/cats: 1 teaspoon daily
Dogs weighing more than 20 kg: 2 teaspoons daily
7-day course, repeat after 3 weeks.
Do not feed to pregnant animals.

Info
Pregnant female dogs should avoid a number of herbs during their gestation period. Examples include parsley, lovage and sage. Wormwood stimulates the uterus and could induce premature labour. For this reason, as a precaution, the use of Worm-Ex is not recommended for pregnant animals.
